At Flare Mental Health, we are committed to providing clear information about the cost of mental health services. Under the No Surprises Act, individuals who are uninsured or who choose not to use insurance have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges for healthcare services.

What Is a Good Faith Estimate?

A Good Faith Estimate provides an estimate of the expected cost of services you may receive. It is based on the information available at the time the estimate is created and is not a guarantee of the final cost of care.

The actual cost of services may vary depending on your individual needs, treatment plan, appointment frequency, and the length or type of services provided.

Insurance and Billing Information

Flare Mental Health works with insurance and billing platforms to assist with payment processing and insurance claims. If you are using insurance, your cost may depend on your specific insurance plan, benefits, deductible, copay, coinsurance, and other factors determined by your insurance provider.

If you choose to receive services without using insurance, you have the right to request a Good Faith Estimate before beginning care.

Your Rights Under the No Surprises Act

If you receive a bill that is substantially higher than your Good Faith Estimate, you may have the right to dispute the charge through the federal patient-provider dispute resolution process.
